William Maes DT: Denver has not been shy about spending money this off season, they spent 62.4 million over 5 years on Maes. Maes is a 5th year player who had 16 sacks and 39 hurries last season. Maes rejected 13 offers to join Denver.
David Houle LT: Seattle got a 9th year LT for 26 million over 5 years. Houle allowed 0 sacks and 20 tackles last season.
Joseph Foster QB: Tampa Bay finds a new starting QB for 29.9 million over 4 years. Foster parted ways with New Orleans after a terrible 1975 season where he only saw 3 starts.
Jeffrey Burnett DT: New England gets a 5th year DT for 43.5 million over 6 years. In 4 seasons Burnett has just 7 sacks and 32 hurries.
Charles Lucas TE: Lucas takes a 4 year 20 million dollar contract from Seattle. The 9th year TE had 635 yards on just 30 catches last season.
Luis Lee QB: Tennessee pays 19 million over 2 years to a 3rd year QB. Lee was drafted as the 4th overall pick in 1974. Lee has taken 1 regular season snap in 2 years it was a sack and a fumble.
