Week 12 RecapAFC West
Everyone wins in the highly competitive Wild Wild West. San Deigo(9-3) still leads the posse by one game over Oakland(8-4) and Kansas City(8-4). Denver(7-5) bounces back to end their skid and hops right back into the chase.
East
Miami(8-4) and New England(8-4) remain knotted up at the top of the East hill. NY Jets(6-6) stumble to cross-town rival NY Giants in the Apple Bowl. Buffalo(2-10) is too busy shoveling snow to play football.
North
It's on in the North. Cincinnati(9-3) and Cleveland(9-3) both win again in a neck n neck race for the division crown. Do ya think the next weeks meeting between these two rivals is big one? Can you say Battle Royale? The rookie GM's in the North took it on the chin this week as both Pittsburgh(5-7) and Baltimore(5-7) lose.
South
The good ole South. Jacksonville(7-5) has battled back to tie up the division with slumping Tennessee(7-5). Just when you think you have this division figured out, it rears it's ugly head and throws mud into a clear picture. This division has been this way since the beginning so why change now right? Houston(3-9) and Indianapolis(3-9) are both fighting over the popcorn.
NFCEast
Breaking News Alert............Dallas(6-6) has sole possession of first place in the East. A division that has been dominated by two-time Super Bowl winner Washington(5-7) for the last 7 seasons. Could that dominance be coming to an end? We'll see after 4 more games. NY Giants(4-8) and Philadelphia(4-8) are still mathematically in it.
West
The NFC West has a nice race going on themselves. Arizona(8-4) wins to stay a game up on Seattle(7-5) who also won. Los Angeles(6-6) is still in the hunt, but has begun a schedule of doom with some incredibly tough teams. And they came up short in the first game of the stretch against Cleveland. Next up, a huge game against division leading Arizona. The 49ers(1-11) have left their hearts in San Francisco.
North
Detroit(11-1) has everything going their way this year. The Lions have already clinched the North with still 4 games to go. Congrats to Detroit on capturing the franchises first division crown. Green Bay(7-5) is looking to grab a wild card spot and enter the dance. Once in the dancer it's no holds barred. Minnesota(4-8) and Chicago(3-9) are playing for pride.
South
Since every one can win in the AFC West this week why can't everyone lose in the NFC South? That's exactly what happened in week 12. Tampa Bay(9-3), Carolina(6-6), Atlanta(5-7) and the Aints(2-10) all go down. It benefits the Buccaneers, which brings them one game closer to clinching their 2nd straight divisional title.
