Very little difference for the problem that can cause when 1-2 RB/TE are injured
I don't understand what's the relation between injuries and adding new weights restrictions lol
When players are injured, if not enough or tired players remaining on the depth chart for a position, the game will choose random players(with random weights) to play .... this mean that if we put weight restrictions on all positions it's almost impossible to follow the rules.... i am voting for less rules as possible...in one of my old leagues it was a big sticky first forum post with 2 (TWO) rules(ST Rusher and DL weight limit) and zero problems ..... i strongly suggest we do the same in Paydirt ....
There is another alternative I believe. We could go ahead and pass the rule and lessen the injury quotient, couldn't we? I mean I like the injury aspect as it forces you to have depth, It won't really matter much the exploiters have moved on, soon the narrative will switch to the pass rush play (I won't give it away) that results in the backfield fumble and the coverage play that results in the receiver fumbling the ball downfield will be the next exploit we will have to deal with. I am not accusing anyone of anything these examples are just my frame of reference for this statement.
Whether we admit it or not there are some folks in this game that are SUPER SMART others specialize in finding ways to beat the system. The RB exploit has been going on for a couple of versions now. Only when 4.5 hits did GM's start carrying 10 or 12 RB? WR's. I had Frank Bell, (all 5' 8" of him) he was listed as a WR but on many plays, I saw that he had been used as a RB out of the singleback big and a few other formations. He was an almost lock for a first down and if the secondary was weak you could line him up and throw to him. He retired at 35, a lifelong Chief. Frank was the #16 WR in paydirt history, 16th in REC, YARDS, and TD's. He rushed for close to 5000 yards and returned some kicks, all totalled 16th in total yards 14, with 98 TD's. I have taken the long way around my point, exploits are out there if you use the Flare passes or PA fullback, just to name a few you are participating, There are plays with higher degrees of success. MFN has Pinky and the brain syndrome. The pinky's watch the brain's and when they figure out what's going on. BOOM they try to take over the world! HAHA. As everyone has now gone to the 4-3 under and Dime defences. Just speaking for myself. I don't mind most of the time it's when the exploit is overused that really gets me. I personally like the difficulty that the tighter weight, ad position restrictions. I like the trade committee, and I wish we could (or would) make a move towards limits on early FA bids, and sticking to the recommended player distribution or something close to it. well that my 2 cents worth .........................MM
***** I am not taking credit for Frank Bell, I was lucky enough to inherit an awesome Chiefs team from GM sethrick, He had one **** of a group there. Much of the reason for my success coming from the public leagues.******
