Heres an idea on existing GMs applying for jobs.
Give me your feedback pros and cons.
I) Only new GMs may apply for jobs between End of Season and week 16.
II) No hiring will be done during the playoffs.
III) Any GM may apply for jobs(open teams only) beginning Wild Card Mid Week and Divisional Round Mid Week.
III.A) Existing and new GMs may apply for as many teams as they wish during this period.
III.B) All apps are to be pm'd to commish in priority list form along with a 3 digit number 000-999.
III.B.1) The "Texas Pick 3" morning lottery will be used to decide teams with more than one app. Closest wins.

IV) GM job applicants will be revealed during the Divisional round stage.
V) GMs will be able to send in a revised priorirty list to include potential job openings from Conference Championship Mid Week til Super Bowl stage.
VI) There will be a one day sim delay before End Season stage to reveal new hirings and one day sim delay after End of Season stage to give everyone a chance to setup their teams FA and Draft strategies.
