The quote of the week:

GG Denver, honestly, ***?

lmao

Denver with rookie GM cariaslopez stays undefeated with a 23-20 win over the Jets and also gets the Game of the Week honors. An awesome game it was. Cleveland also stays undefeated
with a win over the 49ers. Warthog also keeps pace with blackflys for Paydirt's GM career wins @ 103 each. Detroit continues to roll with a big win over powerhouse Tampa Bay. The Lions showed the rest of PFL that this team is for real. There wins have come against some tough teams with tough GM's at the helm. New Orleans, Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay and now Tampa Bay.

Week 5
AFC
With Denver(5-0) trying to separate themselves from the rest of the AFC West, it was imperative that come up with victory's to keep pace. San Diego(4-1) did just that with a win over division foe Oakland(2-3). Kansas City wins as well but trail by 3 games.

East
This division is a tight one. All teams are within one game of each other. New England(3-2) grabbed a share of the lead with a win as Miami(3-2) losses knotting them up at the top of the division. The Jets(2-3) tough loss for the second week in a row drops one game back with Buffalo(2-3).

North
Cleveland(5-0) opens up a two game lead on the rest of the division. Cincinnati(3-2) is trying to pick up some steam with their second win in a row. Baltimore(3-2) drops their second in a row while Pittsburgh(1-4) gets on the scoreboard as they celebrate cyclonelomax's first career win in Paydirt.

South
Like the East this division mirrors them in competitiveness. Tennessee(3-2) jumps into a tie for the division lead with defending AFC Soth champ Jacksonville(3-2) who lost to the Bengals. Houston(2-3) and Indianapolis(2-3) are hot on their trail.

NFC
East
The division had a chance to take advantage of Washington(3-2) as they stumbled out of the gate. The Redskins are the only champions the division has ever known. Dallas(2-3) has won two straight and after starting 0-3 they are only a game back. Both Philly(1-4) and NY Giants (0-5) look like non factors at this point in the season. But theres a long way to go.

West
Seattle(4-1) takes control of the West with their 4th straight win. Arizona(3-2) slips to a game back with a close loss to the Seahawks. The two will battle it out again in week 17. Both Los Angeles (1-4) and San Francisco(0-5) are struggling along.

North
Detroit's(5-0) early success rewards them with a two game lead over Chicago(3-2) who beat division foe Minnesota(2-3). Both Green Bay(2-3) and Minnesota trail by 3 games.

South
Atlanta(3-2) is back in the saddle with a win over the Giants. While Tampa Bay(3-2) suffered a tough loss to the undefeated Lions knotting them up with the Falcons for the NFC South race. Carolina's(1-4) struggles continue and are tied for the cellar with New Orleans(1-4) who came up with a win and are trying to save their GM from a possible axe at the end of the season.

Big Games Week 6
Miami @ San Diego
Arizona @ Dallas
Tennessee @ Chicago
Oakland @ NY Jets
Buffalo @ New England
Atlanta @ Kansas City

Good game Jets...I certainly caught a good sim in this game....some of those passes that my QB completed to blanketed WRs, that's not going to happen every game.

Paydirt Report: Week 6

As we get closer to the halfway mark, the races and chases are starting to shape up. After a lil shuffling of the guard early on, the cream is starting to rise to the top. With the pretenders starting to fade and the contenders starting to make their moves.

We had one of our undefeated teams take the fall in Denver. The Broncos lead by rookie GM cariaslopez losing an exciting game to former blackflys trophy winner jourameng with Carolina. Denver still looks like the real deal while the Panthers looks like they are starting to gather it together. Both Cleveland and Detroit continue to roll with their 6th straight wins.

Recap
AFC

West
The AFC West is back to it's wild wild west days of old. Denver's(5-1) loss and San Diego's(5-1) win knots them up at the top of the heap. Oakland(3-3) and Kansas City(3-3) win to hang in there.

East
New England(4-2) wins their second straight to catapult them into the division lead. Miami(3-3), Buffalo(2-4) and NY Jets(2-4) all lose ground with losses in week 6.

North
With Cleveland's(6-0) 6 game run, it was of high importance that Cincinnati(4-2) wins to hold ground. And they did. After a terrific start Baltimore(3-3) starts to free fall losing their 3rd straight. Pittsburgh(1-5) falls into a big hole with a loss of their own.

South
The AFC South is starting to sort themselves out. Tennessee(4-2) and Jacksonville(4-2) both win to get a lil separation from the rest of the field. Houston(2-4) and Indianapolis(2-4) both drop 2 games back.

NFC
East
What do we have here? Washington(3-3) is at .500 after week 6? Even so, they continue to lead the division by a game over Dallas(2-4) who couldn't capitalize after a heartbreaking loss to Philadelphia(2-4). The Eagles find themselves only a game out of the division lead. The NY Giants(1-5) as bad as they are, find themselves only 2 games back and still in it. But really not cause they are pretty bad.

West
Seattle(5-1) won their 5th straight and hold onto a slim one game lead over Arizona(4-2) who jump back into the win column. Los Angeles(2-4) wins and San Francisco(0-6) loses.

North
Detroit(6-0) continues to flex their muscle with a victory over division foe Minnesota(2-4). Green Bay(3-3) continues their climb with a 2nd consecutive win. Chicago(3-3) losses to fall further behind Detroit and into a tie with the Packers.

South
It's been back and forth and back and forth again in this division. Tampa Bay(4-2) regains the division lead with a win and a loss by Atlanta(3-3) who is led by rookie GM Hellraiser. These two have been mixing it up so far in the first half of the season. Carolina(2-4) is trying to gather it up with their 2nd win in the last 3 games. New Orleans(1-5) falls to the Buccaneers.

Big Games Week 7
New England @ NY Jets
San Diego @ Oakland
Tampa Bay @ Seattle - Battle Royale
Washington @ Arizona
Dallas @ Miami
Tennessee @ Houston
Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
Atlanta @ Carolina

GG, Miami. QB Houk can't seem to miss a pass under the new system and Miami is his latest victim.

Tough stretch of games coming up. First up, at Oakland, which is always tough and needs to win if it hopes to overtake either Denver or San Diego. Then at the Bengals, which needs to win to keep within striking distance of the undefeated Browns. Then at home to play the surprising and now formidable Broncos. Feels like the playoffs already and half a season to go.

Colts/DJS, that game ranks right up there with the most frustrating Ive watched/experienced in MFN, turnovers & penalties were killin the Pack up until the rare blocked punt and return for TD halfway through the 3rd qtr. And the "praise a player jinx" continues for me, like the Sports Illustrated cover jinx, 3 interceptions thrown by the player in question, lol. You deserved a better result after an outstanding job by your defense up until the end.
